You people still dont get it! correct origin story - Batman Begins Reviews

I've read a lot of user reviews, and some of you still don't get it! People are putting the movie down because they believe that the Joker is the one who murdered Batman's parents. This is because they think that the Batman 89 movie was the origin story. WRONG!!!! Batman Begins tells the CORRECT story of how Batman's parents were murdered. The way that was depicted in the original Batman comics. The Batman 89 movie explained both Joker and Batman's parents murder totally disregarding the comic books. And yet more, because of this, people think that this movie doesn't "fit" with the other Batman movies in terms of its continuity. The fact is that this movie is NOT related to the other movies. It is a "restart". In an interview, Christian Bale said that they are "respectfully ignoring" the previous movies because they never explained the REAL Batman story the way it was supposed to be told. I liked Batman 89, but Keaton was never the definitive image of Batman for me. It has taken this movie to finally be the definitve one. Christian Bale is probably the only actor EVER worthy of portraying Bruce Wayne/Batman, and this movie is so far elegantly done, that it is in a class so much higher than any superhero flick that has ever been made. People fail to see the dramatic and intriguing story. This is also a more "adult" movie, which works fine because if you go back and read the comics, Batman was never really a happy sort of comic book. I wish people would make more informed opinions before they bash a movie that has now raised the bar for both filmmaking and for the old "superhero" stereotypical movies.
